So, yuppers, Liam hit the big 180 today! And it's showing. He's really starting to take responsibility for his own actions, let's us know when he poops with an amazing new solid-food aroma, and really is digging being part of the action now.

We were remiss in providing tummy time, but Liam's getting into the doggy swing of things

Liam's getting this whole sitting thang down. He'll do a few minutes on his own now before tilting too far to recover
The boys are growing as we roll into March. Liam's 5 1/2 months and growing fast, and suddenly he has decided to get more involved with his own upbringing: demanding toys and starting to show serious sitting up interest.

Liam's starting to flesh out his car seat now. Might be looking for something different soon if he keeps growing this fast!

Max helped prepare his cake for his birthday... not sure if he quite understood that. We actually decorated the cake after he went to bed, felt like Christmastime with late-night gift-wrapping and all that.

The other big fun was that after everyone left, potty training started on his birthday! First up? Cool Thomas the Tank Engine and Shrek underwear, of course!

We enjoy our time reading the potty book while, well, going potty

Max quickly, after a week or two, graduated to going potty by himself. Wheee! In another week, he would stuff most of a roll of TP down the toilet, which I discovered when water came gushing out under the bathroom door.
Here's the scoop: Liam gets more tummy time, Max gets ready for his birthday, and it's all solids on the food (and poop) front.

Daddio the schoolteacher and Liam, the willing pupil. Liam took about 3 weeks to really get the solid food thang. But now? He's a Chow Master. Loves everything... but jar bananas, those are admittedly pretty nasty. He's getting to the point where I can mash some fresh bananas, I think he'll love those.

Along the way we learned there were times when it didn't pay to try and feed the baby. Like now.

Liam gets into the camera. Reaaaallllly into it.

Suddenly, about mid-February, Liam decides that he wants to figure out the whole sitting and reaching thing. Since then, he's been adamant and boisterous when not given a toy quick enough or allowed to see the action.

Finally! he says... some tummy time! Mom & Dad have been a little lazy making sure Liam gets multiple workouts every day.

The Fisher Brothers enjoy some classic tunes. Well, Dora the Explorer anyway.
